According to the International Agency for Research on Cancer Monograph (IARC, 1987), sites of cancer that have been associated with the use of tobacco (TRC) include lip, tongue, mouth, pharynx(including oropharynx and hypopharynx), oesophagus, larynx, lung and urinary bladder.

The figure above does not indicate any correlation with the incidence data and tobacco consumption habits. Tobacco use is not the only reason to develop the above cancers. There may be some other potential confounding factors.
