The COVID-19 Pandemic has necessitated research to enable efficient and appropriate health and humanitarian response for reducing morbidity & mortality. It aids in strengthening mortality reporting by hospitals.

They are also at increased risk of developing complications from existing diseases due to disruption of routine care. By simple measures from the people and their care providers, these complications can be prevented.
